I am about as local to the Marsh as it gets. I live and write on Romney Marsh - it is my home and I love it here.
My novels feature fictional characters in real and recognisable locations on Romney Marsh and the surrounding area.
Eras range from Anglo-Saxon times to WW2, with stories sometimes covering a real event. The novels have mystery and romance, sometimes crime, but above all the main character will be overcoming adversity and challenges.
The local feel to my books extends to them having distinctive covers with original artwork by artists from Greatstone, Lydd, New Romney and Dymchurch.
I run creative writing workshops in New Romney and occasionally travel further afield. These are unique and always inspired by local history. Some of my attendees have moved onto writing their own ‘Mini Novels’ with me, and I am launching distance learning courses for people who want to connect with the area.
All novels are also available on Kindle.
